TO MAXIMIZE THE IMPACT OF OUR GIVING, we restrict our geographic focus to Africa, Central America, and South America. We periodically review our geographic priorities, taking into account the recommendations of the United Nations and partner organizations. In Africa, we currently consider projects in Botswana, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. In the Americas, we consider projects in Bolivia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Paraguay. We do not fund medical research or fellowships.
